It's May!
You know what that means, It's Irritable Bowel Disease awareness month here on Wonder, Grace and Joy!
For those of you who are new around here, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2014. It has been a wild and crazy ride since then.
In 2020, I started this awareness month just because. World IBD day is this month and I consistently found myself explaining what Crohn's Disease is and why I can't do blank. (Also we were in the beginning of the pandemic and it just seemed like a good idea to distract me)
I poured my heart and soul in those posts back in 2020; Some of them were easy to write but others really took an emotional toll on me thinking about how far I have truly come.
I am excited to have you read these posts this month. I hope it sheds a light on a disease that is mostly invisible.
Here are the 2020 posts I wrote for Crohn's Confidential:
Crohn's Confidential: My Crohn's Disease Journey
Crohn's Confidential: My Support Team and How They Help Me
Crohn's Confidential: Surgery: Before & After
Crohn's Confidential: Recovery After Surgery
Crohn's Confidential: World IBD Day
Crohn's Confidential: Dealing with Questions and Comments
Crohn's Confidential: What I learned from Crohn's Disease
Crohn's Confidential: Resources
Crohn's Confidential: Thank you
Crohn's Confidential: Humira Update

Tomorrow I am going to share an update on the surgery I had 3 years ago.
