Yoga girl take 2

I was so excited when Rachel brathen was coming back to New Jersey.  I went to her first new jersey class I. January. (read about that here!) and when she announced a second new jersey show,  I couldn't believe it. I bought my ticket after she announced she was moving it from Monmouth university to an athletic complex in toms river. I knew this time around I wanted to be close to the front. In January we were probably 6-8 rows back,  which was pretty close! I left my house a little before 8am (the doors were opening at 10 am and Rachel announced last night- that there were going to be 900 people practicing at this event!!) (yikes!!  My anxiety went crazy!!)  I arrived to my delight at the complex to see o KY a handful of cars and only a few girls online. I squealed with delight!! I hurried up,  got out a my car,  grabbed a blanket in my trunk and hurried to claim my spot in line. Hello,  10th spot in line!!  My anxiety level went down-- I knew I wanted to be very close to the stage- I accomplished these mini goals. I sat next to the cutest mother daughter duo from North Jersey and two girls from Connecticut - - it took them 3 hours to get here this morning!! (dedicated fans!!)

Once we were able to get inside, I basically booked it with my yoga mat to the very front! I was just to the left of the stage where she was going be. I was so so excited. I got my mat out with my water bottle and journal she told us to bring.

I couldn't contain my excitement. A quick trip to the bathroom and a few photos in front of this fun flowered photo wall I was ready to practice.

The whole yoga session flew by. It was amazing. I was even helped by her husband (What a hunk!) into the frog position. I had starts in my eyes. We connected with the people around us and I met such a sweet girl, we became instagram friends! At the end was a meet and greet. I jumped up and got right in line. I was hoping to get a selfie with her, because it was my second time in a year seeing her but she polietly declined saying "photos drain me, hugs inspire me" so I left with a hug instead.

The whole practice was so awesome and the energy in the complex was really really cool. I loved getting the chance to experience it.

Here are some photos from the event:

Back at it again

Hi Hi Hi!!! Hello Blogsphere.... I have missed you all dearly!

It's November and after a long break--- I think I am ready to jump back into the blogging world. I know I briefly blogged for a little in September with Bailey's Blogtember challenges but I really want to blog more intentionally and have this act as my journal of some sorts--- a place to keep memories and experiences.

I guess its only proper if I fill you in on what I have been up to the past few months. I think the best way is through photos; I love capturing everyday moments, things that excite me or  I think are beautiful. Snapshots of everyday life that I want to remember.

The past few months have been rough but I have always loved looking back on my camera roll and seeing the images I capture. Life isn't always perfect but I always try to look for the good in each day.

I found this quote really inspiring, just at the perfect moment when I needed it . I hope this can help someone going through a rough time.

My intention for this month is to blog more and to enjoy it. I am excited to try to share more this month. Stay tune for my November Goals.
