friYAY Favorites

Hi friends! I am linking up with Andrea and Erika today!

I completely lost track last week and by the time Thursday evening rolled around, I did not have the energy to write, so I gave myself grace and did a weekend review instead.

I am going to be completely honest, today's favorites are more like rambles and that's okay! I am all about giving myself grace and letting things go as they are. Enjoy some random rambles from this everyday jersey girl.

-These past two weeks have been wacky! I am not sure exactly where it went wacky but I am pretty sure it went wacky last Monday Morning at 8 AM. Work was pretty consistent and my biggest win these past two weeks was closing a file that I opened in 2020!!! You have no idea how exciting it was to finally say TOODALOOO to this file. It has been quite a monkey on my back and I am beyond excited.

-This week I was weirdly productive and I couldn't pin point exactly why. I was struggling with some things the past few weeks and when I finally spoke them into the world, I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The struggles didn't go away but it was nice that someone else besides me knew about them. I felt like a can of soda all shook up, waiting to explode.

-I also checked off another thing off my list that has been really bothering me. It wasn't as bad as I had imagined it would be, which was a bright spot. These two weeks have been quite a roller coaster work load wise and I am happy to have the weekend to look forward to.

-One fun thing that happened this week was lunch with some of the retired ladies from my office. When I started at the office 11 years ago, it was an older office and I LOVED it. They all have their fun personalities and always a wealth of knowledge. As the years went by, one by one they started to retire. Back in January, I got to see some of them for the first time in 7+ years at my one co-workers surprise retirement party.

We had a lovely lunch together and it was nice to seem them again. The best part was, it was like they never left. :)

-Tomorrow is the 5K race I have been training for all summer. My plan today is to run the course around 7, slow and steady.  I want to know, I can do it, myself, without anyone else around. I also plan on taking it easy for the rest of the day too.

-I know you all have been waiting for part two of my North Carolina trip and I am SO happy to say that it will go live later today!!!! YAY! I have just three more travel posts and they will also be posted by the end of the month, I can't be talking about my sunny vacation in September. HA!

-Here is a sunset photo from last week's adventure to Dorney Park.

We were just in the right place at the right time. :)
