Friday's Joy

Hi friends!  I am linking up with Erika and Andrea today for FriYAY favorites.

Week In Review

Woof! It was a week! I had a great weekend last weekend; Friday afternoon climbing and dinner out then I spent time with a friend catching up and enjoying nature and scripture. It was really beautiful, all around. I found a new trail that had the most amazing view of Philadelphia! I was pleasantly shocked I didn't see green smoke billowing from the skyline, since it was the day after the Eagles won again the Giants.

If you are looking for a great hike in South Jersey, check out Blueberry Hill. It's an easier hike with paved paths and stairs and we spent a few hours in there.

Work has been good- a lot of hurry up and wait to start the new part of the banking systems. Tuesday afterwork I went to Chik Fil A for dinner and then yoga at Gravity Vault.  I decided to skip climbing before yoga which I thought was odd but I then thought, I needed to rest and I didn't  want to push myself. Yoga was fantastic as usual and by the time I arrived home, I was exhausted. I thought it was odd but I took a shower and didn't dry my hair. I went straight to bed.

I woke up Wednesday morning not wanting to get up at all. I decided I needed a day so I called out of work and rested all day. I thought to myself, tomorrow I will be better. I spent Wednesday in bed, eating my way through the day. I thought that was a good sign-me eating! I went to be thinking about what needed to be done at work the next day. I woke up on Thursday feeling terrible. Off to Quick Care to find myself positive with C0v!D. Color me surprised.

I've been quarantining in my room and bless my parents for leaving food outside my door. I am very lucky I am having mild symptoms. I woke up today, feeling a little more like myself but still exhusted. Looking forward to relaxing and recooperating this weekend BUT I am bummed to be missing Hooper at Albert Music Hall tomorrow night. I'll catch them next time they come around.

  1. Aw, so sorry to hear you're sick but glad you've had mild symptoms. That climb looks amazing.
