Hi friends! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea this week... I can't wait to read your posts!
Whew! Hello Thanksgiving and vacation hangover! I don't know why but I really thought this week would be nice and easy and slow. Going into this week, I knew I had a ton to do this week but somehow I thought it would be calm and slow. NOPE! This week has definitely been giving me a run for my money between finishing up the files from Adoption day and having bids due on December 1st, its been nonstop.
Between the craziness of the week, this week was a good practice for me to give myself grace. There were a few reasons why this week and while I am still trying to process them all, I will say that all good things must come to an end, at some point. My blog has unfortunately been pushed to the backseat this week, which made me sad but I know it was for the best. I am hoping to be back to the normally scheduled program next week. I have planned this month a mix of Christmas Cheer and year reflections. I can't wait to dig in and reflect on this crazy year.

On a happier note, I did get a chance to watch Die Hard and I totally get the hype now. Its a great movie; I could totally do without the gory parts. While it is unconventional, I would agree with it being a Christmas movie. Christmas movies don't always have to be red and green with candy canes.

Chapstick Total Hydration Sea Minerals Sheer Glow- I picked this up on a whim and OMG! It seriously has become my favorite very quickly. Not only is this super moisturizing but it acts with your skin's pH to provide some color. NOW the color is subjective and sometimes its a nice neutral color, sometimes its bright pink, I would love to figure out what I am doing/eating to make it bright pink vs. neutral. Overall its a great hydrating lip balm with some type of color.

This weekend is filled with Christmas Cheer. Decorating the family's Christmas tree then running the Jingle Bells run in Downtown Toms River. I am SO excited for this. I have been wanting to do this for years now. ALSO the town put out the list of when Santa is going to be coming around on a fire truck and I am so excited for that. YES, I am 34 but some holiday traditions you will never be too old for.

My only post this week was Diary # 35. I love having a digital diary of all the photos that I love from a month. I think one of my goals for 2023 is to start compiling all these Diary post photos into photobooks. It has been on my mind for a very long time. Let's see if 2023 is the year that I can make it happen.

I am wishing you a wonderful, Christmas filled weekend!
[[and suddenly you just know it's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings]]

I watched Die Hard last year for that very same reason.. and I enjoyed it too. We figure in another couple of years we'll watch it with our boys.
