friYAY Favorites

Hi friends!

What a relaxing and productive weekend this past weekend! Mom and I ordered our Christmas Cards (Thanks Snapfish for 70% off! You can get 75% off Christmas Cards using the code HOLLYCRD75 this weekend!)

Saturday was absolutely beautiful, and I got outside for a run around my neighborhood. I wanted to see how long it would take me to complete a 5K. I did it in 35 minutes which isn't too far off from my time this summer. YAY! I visited my favorite marina, and I was rewarded with some pretty views. OH, did i mention, I was out in shorts and a tank in NOVEMBER?! This was a great feeling.

Sunday I went climbing in the morning.  I can't remember the last time I was there so early. It was really nice. Me and three other people had the gym to ourselves. After an hour or so, my arms were done. I dusted off the chalk and then drove over to Atlanta Bread where I worked on my blog posts and ate a really yummy grilled cheese sandwich. I haven't had one of those in a longgg time.

Good news! I wasn't as afraid as I usually am with Daylight Savings as I have been in the past. I always have a terrible fear that I will be late to work on Monday because of it.

Monday went by surprisingly quick; maybe because I knew I had Tuesday off.

Tuesday was Election Day; I hope you all voted. I had the day off and it was filled! I had an early morning dentist appointment which I got a good report from AND I got a goody bag! I also did a few random errands that I had been meaning to do- drop of a box of my used Humira pens off at the local hospital and stop by my financial advisor's office to speak with him. Then the most important errand of them all- lunch at Chik-fil-A. YAY!

I spent the rest of the afternoon writing blogposts at Bell Works. This place makes me both so happy and so inspired. I was able to accomplish so much and I was able to do some prime people watching. I love Bell Works because it brings together a variety of people for a variety of reasons. I saw people working, I saw people taking video calls, I saw people reading and lounging, I saw wedding guests (including the bride and groom), I saw the cutest puppies! Smelled the yummiest foods! Saw the cutest decor! It was a very nice 4 hours there.

We are totally in Fall mode over here in Jersey, no more 70 degree days. I had to wear a coat today!

Wednesday flew by. I honestly sneezed and the day was over. I had accomplished some things but not everything I wanted to. Thursday was Second Friday this week. I worked on what needed to be done this week and had a pretty relaxing day.

Overall good week!

Crumbl Copycat Frozen Hot Chocolate Cookie/// To get into the holiday spirit, I am hoping to make these cookies this weekend! I cannot wait to see how they turn out!

Laguna Beach Reunion/// This is the reunion you have been waiting for! Lauren, Kristen and Stephen together in one room  talking about their love triangle on Laguna Beach. Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen is one of my favorite podcasts. Go listen and find out some fun tidbits about the show that aired 18 years ago! (ugh, I feel old typing that!)

Michael Oher is Married/// The Blind Side is one of my favorite movies. To see Michael overcome so much and still have a good heart AND marry a beautiful women he loves (and  have 4 beautiful children too) is really inspiring. YAY!

I have a three day weekend; Tomorrow is all about chores and blog posts. Saturday and Sunday is Operation Christmas. Kyle has put me in charge of his Christmas decorations and since next weekend we are leaving and I know I will be tired once we get back from Florida, this seems like the most logical thing to do. I think Kyle is starting to realize, that my cheerful sunshiny personality is amplified during the Christmas season and he might be slightly worried.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!  I feel like Buddy the Elf. Anyone know a fun Christmas Cocktail? Leave your ideas in the comments below!

  1. I used Shutterfly last weekend too-- to order all my photo calendar gifts. It's always a relief to have that chore done.
