This was another wacky week for me. It feels like summer with all the humidity but on the other hand it doesn't feel like a typical summer, and that's okay. I am still getting used to this new normal but I am trying to embrace all the good that I can lately. As always, my Friday rambles are a mix of random things from the week.
1. Golden Hour Walks
One of my favorite things this week has been walking by the water from 6 to 8ish. Wednesday night, I was able to see a sailing regatta and an egret up close. There is something so special living by the water and being able to truly enjoy the sounds and sights of the water.
2. My Friday Adventure
Last Friday I had off and I decided to venture out early to Target. I haven't been to Target since February(?) and I was so excited that I ended up getting to the store 1 HOUR early. HA! There was no one in the parking and I quickly figured out, I got the times wrong. I spent the hour waiting wandering around Lowes. I got plant food, and new potting soil for my office plants. Once I finally got into Target, I felt out of place. It was definitely a weird feeling. I enjoyed the change of scenery and I loved aimlessly wandering through all the displays.
3. Wayfair
I have been searching for a desk for what seems like forever and with the holiday last week, I was able to get a chair I've been looking at Amazon for a lot cheaper and a desk that was exactly what I was looking for. I am excited to put them together and actually use them. Now I don't mind writing these blog posts from my bed, but sometimes I want to sit an actual desk. lol I will share once its all put together!
4. The Universe
It's no secret that I tend to bottle things up when I don't know what to do. This week I decided to share something that was bothering me with a coworker and by putting that out into the universe the very next day I saw results. I couldn't believe it, the SAME. EXACT. thing I expressed not 24 hours before was changing. It put a smile on my face. Come to think about it, there were a few instances that the universe popped up and they were things that would not be easily done but somehow they were.
5. Favorite Memes
