Hi friends!

Week in Review
What a week! It was back to reality for me. I spent the weekend recouping, doing all the laundry AND watching anything I can get my hands on. It was a relaxing and restful weekend. I went to the pool on Saturday afternoon as well!
I jumped back into work on Monday morning expecting the worst. What I found was only 15 missed calls, 33 emails and some mail. My boss had checked in on my desk throughout the week and kept everything orderly. I am so beyond thankful for her taking time out of her busy schedule to help me out.
This was the best scenario and I was able to make my way through everything throughout the week.
By Thursday afternoon, my desk was covered in a mess! I had different piles of stuff- halfway through one thing, started another task ect., when Joyce stopped by. She retired last December and I love when she stops by to chat. It was nice to catch up with her.
After she left, I realized it was almost time to go. Yay! I made my to do list for next week and got together my mess. I was so ready to run into the three day weekend! Hello Summer Friday! I have been waiting for you for a looooooonnnggggg time!
Last night Keith invited me out to happy hour with his co-workers at the Ark Brewery. We had the best time and I was so excited to meet his work friends. I can't remember the last time I was out to happy hour with such a lively group.

This and That
(New section this week!)
- KWD (Kindness while driving) Sweet man blocked traffic
Yesterday morning on my way to work, I encountered a truck broken down in the left lane and I was supposed to merge onto the roadway where the broken down truck was. The problem was, he was right before my merge. I was having a terrible time trying to inch into traffic. With it being rush hour traffic, I was not in the best position. All of the sudden, I see a white van swerve around me and pull out ahead of me. I was so angry for a split second until I saw the man in the white van lean forward and wave me on. I was confused then realized what he was doing... He saw I was having a hard time merging on. He blocked the lane for me to be able to go. I waved (happily) to him and I felt terrible for being so angry at him before realizing what he did. We ended up driving the same way and before I turned, and we were right next to each other, he smiled and gave me a thumbs up and I waved and thanked him! I love this so much! What an unexpected act of kindness this morning.
- Tip: Use an alcohol swab to remove sharpie on clothing.
I had no idea about this trick and it seriously works! As luck would have it, my sweater fell off my chair and I rolled over it. I tried to rescue it with a pink sharpie in my hand and said sharpie got on my sweater. I remembered a Instagram post about what removes sharpie from clothes but couldn't find it. A quick Google search and I found my answer from Good Housekeeping and it worked!!! I was shocked.

- Probably the weirdest thing in my work day:
Watching the baby buzzards and seeing how big they got! The left photo was from April 18th and the right photo was from Wednesday. Y'all!!! Look how big they are and not so fuzzy! ((I know this is so weird but nature is cool!))
- New Recipe
Keith was at the Mets game on Tuesday night and I decided to try a recipe from Instagram- Low Carb Chicken Crust Pizza. I was totally skeptical about this BUT it was relatively easy to make and it tasted delicious. The only thing I would do differently would be to drain the chicken so the crust would be crispier.

Looking Ahead
My sixth 5K in Red Bank (hoping it doesn't rain!) and celebrating Father's Day. I am hoping to work on my blog, go to the pool and go grocery shopping. A good mix of business and relaxing.

How to Be a Person Camp/// I saw this a few years ago and on the Simplified podcast this week, and I think this is an awesome idea. I think adult would benefit from some of these "camp" classes.
Bear went for a swim///I love this. The bear just wanted to have a little fun and everyone freaked out. What would you do
America's Garden Capital/// If you are in the Philadelphia area, check this out. I love this idea so much and I can't wait to visit some of these gardens.
Bridge collapse on I-95 in Philadelphia///Whooo weee. Did you see this or was this just a local thing? This will be causing a bigger traffic mess than it was. Prayers are welcome for this mess to be fixed quickly.
ALSO some humor about this I-95 situation:
Commuting To Work via Plane//// She lives in South Carolina but works in Newark, New Jersey. She claims its cheaper to fly to work then actually live in Newark, New Jersey. WHAT?!
Same Shirt Prank/// 40+ dads show up at graduation with the same shirt on. I would have loved to see their faces when they all realized that this was a prank by their wives. HA!
