Week in Review
What a great weekend!
Saturday was filled with family, friends and fun.
Keith and I went to lunch with my parents at Caffery's Backyard and it never disappoints. It was a beautiful day and Caffery's had all the garage doors open so the fresh air could flow through the restaurant.
Later in the afternoon, Keith and I headed to his friend's house for a BBQ. We took exactly zero photos and we had the very best time. Keith has known these friends for what seems like forever and they were all so welcoming to me. There was an adorable doodle named Charlie and a beautiful Shepard named Scout. I wanted to take the doodle home with us LOL. We stayed out wayyyyy too late and on the way home, we sang car karaoke. Simple and sweet time spent together.
We had a truly Lazy Sunday. We did absolutely nothing except eat snacks and watch way too many hours of the Hills. 🤣
Monday I was determined to get a few things done. We went to Home Goods to find a hamper and a few odds and ends. Keith tested out every chair in the store and declared none of them comfortable. 🙈
We went out to lunch then back to the apartment to do a few things before relaxing and watching the series Finale of Succession. Ohmygosh!!!!
Work wise, this week flew by! I had a decent amount of work on my plate and it made each day go by so quickly.
I got to see my favorite hair stylist on Wednesday night and Keith went to the Mets game. I love catching with my hair stylist- I've been going to her for 10 years now! She has been through the thick of things with me and she knows exactly what I like with my hair. The Mets won Wednesday Night and Keith was SO excited it was a great game! I'm looking forward to the Mets game in June- I know it will definitely be a fun time.
In between everything, I have been making packing lists and checking them twice. I am so excited for Florida tomorrow. I will be sure to share what I packed for this vacation because it's much different than the last few I've been on.
On a random note, I love the instagram videos that the caption is " dating apps are not working for me so I'm going to go to _______ and look confused." I can't stop giggling at these. I've seen Home Depot (the lumber aisle), an military airshow and a firehouse. I love the creativity of these and I wonder if it works!?

Looking forward
I am signing off for the week and fully enjoying all the sunshine Florida has to offer. I cannot wait to dip my toes into that beautiful blue Gulf water. I've been dreaming of that water since my November trip to Panama City Beach.
I have posts pre- written that will be posted but I am going to disconnect from the socials and enjoy the time off.
