Backgrounds.
I know random topic BUT I was thinking about it the other day and I took a look at the backgrounds on my work computer, laptop, phone and iPad and I started to think about how they can be inspiring, they can make you smile, and remember a memory OR they can just be there and you not think anything about them.
I, for one, love my backgrounds to mean something. I love seeing something that makes me happy, like on my phone. At work, I prefer to have something inspiring on my desktop and my laptop, I want to see something beautiful.
I am sharing my backgrounds today with you all, just in case you were curious and a nosey nellie like I am.
Let's first start with my phone backgrounds.
My lock screen changes monthly. You know I love a good theme and I try to keep that up. Specifically for Valentine's Day, I had this picture I took in the Dollar Tree last year.
I found this quote on Instagram from @Moonomens and instantly fell in love with it. I paired the lavender background with a bright aqua background and hot pick accents. Even at work, I keep it bright and cheerful. I can't remember when I put this on my desktop but it feels like I've had it forever.
My iPad background.
My iPad background.
I've had my iPad since 2016 and I don't use it as often as I used to but when I do open it up, I always find a big smile on my face because of this glittery purple-ly background. Both the lock screen and home screen are the same image.
Lastly, my desktop background. This year, I decided to create a monthly background to inspire me and to relate to the current month. I went through all the landscape photos I have on my camera roll and made an album titled " Laptop Backgrounds" I can pull from. The hardest part is choosing each month what photo I want to use.
Currently my March background is:
This is a photo I took back in November 2021. I was driving to work and I had this feeling I just HAD to pull over to see this sunrise. I parked and opened my car door and stood and just clicking. This was one of the magical photos I took that morning- Sunrise of the Toms River. I added "March" in Canva and it is perfect for this month.
January's background was taken in Panama City Beach Florida back in November 2022. That was such a perfect Florida Sunset.
Thanks for letting me share my backgrounds and the reasons why I chose them.
What backgrounds do you use on your devices? Do you just keep the one that came with the device or do you personalize it? Let me know in the comments below!
