I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika, as always! I am so excited to read your posts this week!
Woo! What a week! These short weeks after a 3day weekend always kick my butt. Tuesday seemed to fly by yet Wednesday dragged on. I couldn't figure out why! BUT we made it to Friday and we actually accomplished a lot this week. My to do list was filled with items that I was not exactly looking forward to but I got them done and I feel relieved.
I also had a nice chat with my supervisor about all the random things that have been hanging over my head/been a pain and I feel like I have gotten to a good place, work wise where I am pretty caught up. For most of the year, it had been a struggle for me just because of outside factors affecting what I was to be doing. The thing I am most excited about is being caught up with my bookkeeping and even to the point of being on top of it! WAHOO!
Outside of work, things have been good too! Last week I got some fall/winter clothes out and switched them with my super summery clothes. The weather in Jersey has been a little wacky but I am making due. I am excited to wear all my sweaters and boots.
Kyle and I celebrated our one-year anniversary this past week. We have dinner reservations for Barrel and Roost for Sunday night, which I am really excited about. We haven't been in a long time and I might have been dreaming about the homemade ricotta all week. My stomach usually does not like ricotta BUT this ricotta is like cream cheese and my stomach loves cream cheese.
I have also been working on a few things behind the scenes and all of them have been making me really happy. I can't wait to share them with you soon! :)
The past weekend was really fun and jammed packed; I wrote all about it in yesterday's Weekend Rewind. I am looking forward to this weekend because we are taking our family Christmas card photo. As you've seen in past years, we have an annual family photo taken for our Christmas card. This has been such a fun tradition. While I am the adult kid, it's nice to have these memories year after year. I think we have inspired friends of the family towho have grown kids/no kids/grandkids to send out Christmas cards too. We receive many card that have all types of families and they make me smile each year!

Here are a few links I found this week:
Scholastic Book Fair Memories/// This was by far my favorite day out of the school year, Book Fair Day. I remember coming home with the thin paper catalog and the never ending list of books and trinkets I wanted. My parents and I would sit down go over the list and then they would give me a check to purchase the items. I was so EXCITED to go pick everything out. My mom would inevitably always give me a few extra dollars, just in case I missed something. I was the poster child for book nerd. Seeing others have the same experience as me, makes me smile and pose the question, WHY ISN'T THERE BOOK FAIRS FOR ADULTS?!
Funny Highway Signs/// I love New Jersey and the fact these signs are near where I am, make me giggle. I'm so glad the NJDOT has a sense of humor. If they can get the road construction under control and fix the 2 foot deep potholes, THAT would be wonderful but I guess I should be grateful for small steps.

Nope, no weekend plans here. We've had a long week with my middle son fighting off something (we thought was step throat but wasn't) so I've felt like I should stick close to home and avoid other so as not to spread our germs around.
