2/// Back to Reality
Reality hit when the alarm went off early Wednesday morning and real life started again. I was so thankful someone in the hallway on my way to my office said "Not bad for a Wednesday!" because I had no idea what day it was. HA! Silly side effect of vacation brain.
Work wasn't nearly as bad as I expected Wednesday. Lots to organize but I was able to accomplish everything that needed to get done.
3/// Couch to 5K
I think I have mentioned I am doing the Couch to 5K program with my town and while Week One went pretty well; I am slacking on Week Two this week. Between the holiday and traveling, it just didn't fit in. I am going to try and double up on days again this weekend. I just have to remind myself to pace myself better and starting quick is not sustainable.
4/// Newness
Before I left for vacation, I ended up ordering myself a new phone and made the big girl decision to go on my own phone plan. (Baby bear is finally growing up!) After spending what felt like weeks researching, it ended up being cheaper to buy the phone from Samsung directly and then get my phone plan seperatly with Google Fi.
I ended up choosing Google Fi because the big thing was there was no contracts or extra charges, what you see it what you will get. I am curious to see how this will work changing my cell phone number from Verizon to Google Fi; it looks easy enough but still super nervewracking.
I ended up choosing the Samsung Galaxy S22+ in Violet with 256 gb. Samsung had a great deal and even though it was technically more expensive just looking at it, it ended up being cheaper in the end. I was so EXCITED to see the lavender color. I originally was leaning towards the Google Pixel 6+ in the Sorta Sunny color BUT I wasn't pleased about how expensive it would be monthly.
Comparing the Google Pixel and the Samsung Galaxy was intereesting. They weren't too different but I ended up liking the features on the Galaxy a lot more. I currently have the Galaxy S9+ and I really do love it. When I saw on Sumsung's website they had web exclusive colors, I got really excited not only for the yellow but the pretty lavender. A few friyay favorites ago, I shared I've been having a purple moment and this fit right in with that.
I am eager to set up my new phone and "port" my number from Verizon to Google Fi.
On top of the new phone, I also got a new bed. My bed is about 10 years old at this point and I am definitely due for a new one. My parents were overdue for a new bed too so "you get a new bed!" "You get a new bed!"
After mama did some research, we settled on the brand Helix. They were delivered and we are ready to set them up this weekend! I'm so excited.

This weekend will be filled with lots of laundry and unpacking; things around the house; setting up my new bed and phone and trying to get some semblance of normal life back together.
