Today is my HALF birthday. I know this is usually reserved for babies but who doesn't love a celebration and a reason for cake.
As I am sitting outside today, at 4:30 PM, I am thinking back on the crazy year this has been already. I am really starting to think that 2022 is just 2020, too. HA.
Even with all of the craziness, this year has had some really awesome moments. I got to go on my first vacation in a long time; I've spent time connecting with friends; I have spent a lot of time on WGJ and trying to find my own place in the blogosphere; I have spent a lot of time with my parents; I spent time in nature and climbing and trying to find my own place in the world.
Here are some of my favorite selfies from this year:

As with July's photo, I am hoping that was a positive sign for all the goodness to come in the second half of this year. I spend a lot of time reflecting on things, what went right, what went wrong, what could have changed and the sheer excitement of something positive being ahead, makes me smile and eager to see what happens next.
Year 34 sure have been an interesting year so far, I can't wait to see what the rest of 34 holds for me.
