Happy Blogiversary!

Woah! Its been 11 crazy years since I started this blogging adventure. 

Last year I wrote a fun post about how I felt about blogging for 10 years. You can read it here. Looking back on my posts from 2011, I remember how young I was (hello 23!) and how exciting this new world of blogging was. Some of the bloggers I used to follow, I still follow today. It absolutely blows my mind, how some bloggers have made a career out of this- writing about their lives. That's a far off dream of mine,  to write for a living. Maybe one day. 

Blogging reached its peak, I believe in between 2013 and 2015. Its where the fashion bloggers hit their strides and it seemed like everyone had their own blogs. It also seemed blogging was more organic and fun. There were no sponsorship's or deadlines. Bloggers blogged about what they wanted, when they wanted and there wasn't an aesthetic to follow- it was truly about their life and I miss that. 

I have learned a lot over these 11 years and while sometimes I wished I had documented some big moments in my life, I am also happy I have kept some of those big moments private. I look forward to blogging more thing year and trying to blog more authentically and this been a stress free hobby of mine.
