Hello! Happy Good Friday. I have off from work today.
This week was nice. The weather seems have taken a turn for cold again :( . Work has been pretty steady this week and as with the end of the month, I have to complete certain reports and I absolutely love looking back on the month and seeing what happened. I feel a sense of relief when I am able to hand off the reports.
I finished two books this week (!!), I think the reading bug bit me again. Thanks to Libby, I have a whole library right at my fingertips. I am currently reading, Ask again, yes by Mary Beth Keane. I don't know much about this but I am excited to find out. I can't wait to share the other books I finished in my quarterly book review.
Last Friday, I made a choice. I decided to take a social media break... indefinetly. I orignally just wanted to not be tethered to my phone all the time so I figured a good weekend social media detox would be perfect. By Monday morning, I didn't miss it so I decided to continue with it until I couldn't resist it any more. Well here we are its been a week and I don't miss it. I went on facebook for two specific reasons and after scrolling for 2 minutes, I was over it. Maybe I've grown out of it finally(?), maybe I am tired of seeing doom and gloom mixed in with happiness was just too much to bear.
I have a fun opportunity for a take over on a social media account at the end of the month but anything else past that- I am totally okay with not having it on my devices. I will share more on this fun opportunity later this month.
Life has been slowly and surely getting back to normal yet still different. I am so curious to see what happens in the next few months.
This weekend is filled with food (duh!) and family time. Also I am looking forward to reading and binging more Greek episodes.
