Best of 2023: Thoughts on 2023

As we approach the end of 2023, I thought it would be fun to compile some of the "Best of" things from the year.

Today I am sharing some thoughts about 2023; these are just some random things I've had on my mind the last few weeks.

2023 was a wild year

Status: Single-In A Relationship-Almost engaged-Single

People surprised me

Co-workers turned into friends

Therapy sessions still going strong

Started sewing again

Blogging fell to the wayside in the summer but picked it back up

Health was wobbly but getting back on track

Morning gym sessions have become my favorite

Wake up calls made me re-evaluate my life

Ready for a fresh start come 01/01/24

Not a terrible year, not the worst, but also not the best.

What a year!

To round out this post, I am sharing my "Months of the Year" from Instagram. I did this last year and I hate to admit how long it actually took me last year. This year, it went a bit quicker. HA!

[[What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of my life haven't happened yet.]]

Best of 2023: WGJ Favorites playlist

As we approach the end of 2023, I thought it would be fun to compile some of the "Best of" things from the year.

Today we are looking at my WGJ Favorites 2023 Playlist. This is my 4th year putting together a favorites playlist based off of the monthly playlists I create.

Here's a sneak peek into how I create this playlist:
After I create the monthly playlist, I choose a song that is a good representation of the month. Song #1 is from January, Song #2 is from February, etc.
Example: I chose Song #4, Damn Good Life by Dalton Dover for April because I saw Dalton Dover in concert and I LOVED the message of this song.

I LOVE creating monthly playlists and I am so happy you listen along with me.

WGJ FAVORITES 2023
Happy- HARDY
All I Need Is You- Chris Janson
Northern Star- High Valley
Damn Good Life- Dalton Dover
Tough Crowd- Jason Aldean
What's Wrong With That- RaeLynn
Raised Up Right- Riley Green
Howdy- Clayton Johnson
Amazing- Teddy Swims
Cruel Summer- Taylor Swift
