How am I in my mid-thirties already?! I swear I just turned 13 like last week and got out of my awkward stage a few days ago.
It is hard for me to put into words exactly what I am feeling about my birthday. I am feeling an array of feelings- all good- but there are a a lot of them. While I am excited for the adventures this next year hold, I am cautious to see what happens next.
Today I will celebrate with good company and good food (and really cold weather) and I will sit back a revel in the fact that I have spent 34 years here on earth. I will continue to celebrate everything, all the good that life has to offer. I want this year to be filled with joy, wonder, excitement, adventures, and happiness.
