Hello! Happy Friday!
Its the first full week back from the holidays. This week flew by (I am not surprised). At work, I started this week with lots of bookkeeping and checking with the banks I deal with to make sure the money transfer went through. They all did and I am ready to do this again in the fall. (Our current investment contract is a one year contract so I will have to go out to bid again in the fall and I am hoping the interest rates come up a little.) Overall this work week was pretty good, lots accomplished and some new systems in place.
In the news this week, it was A LOT to process. I think John Deloney said it best when he posted this
Be kind. Its simple, it costs nothing and it will make you a better person.
OKAY! I think we all need a some feel good stories right?
I found these this week and I got all the warm fuzzies when I read these stories:
People Share Green Flags in Relationships/// Aww! These just make my heart burst with joy. These are so fun to read and they truly make you feel good.
Rescued Rabbit and his Stuffed Bear/// My heart is bursting again! This bunny has a stuffed friend and its his little buddy. Spoiler alert, the bunny is safe and sound and his stuffed friend is doing great too.
Nintendo in Children's Hospitals/// This is such a great idea. The Starlight Foundation and Nintendo have teamed up to make the hospital a little less scary for kids who are admitted. They partnered together in 1992 and they have been expanding what they do ever since! YAY!
Pro Surfer Saves Women///The ocean can be beautiful but it can be dangerous. Mikey Wright didn't hesitate to jump in to save this women in Hawaii. This situation could have been a lot worse but the woman was safe and sound on dry land in the end. Great job Mikey!
Last but not least,
What He Sees/// Love what matters always has the best content for feel good stories and this one is one of my favorites. Her non verbal autistic son started to take photos daily, mom realizes that he is communicating in his own way and she figures out what he loves and wants to do. Another win for technology.
Are you a puddle of mush from reading those sweet sweet stories?
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and remember be kind and speak your truth.
