I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika, as always! I am so excited to read your posts this week!
What a week! What a month! While we're at it, what a year! Ha. This week felt like a whirlwind but in the very best way! I think, I made it to the gym every single morning this week and I have been feeling such a rush of good vibes each day because of my morning workout! YAY! Last night I went to Gravity Vault for the Beladies night and while we were doing yoga, through the cracks in the curtains, I was able to see the most intense and beautiful red and orange and yellow sunset I've seen in a long time. I wished I had my phone with me but I also appreciated that moment for what it was, an unexpected blessing.
Since this week has been a whirlwind, lets just right in!
Runtember is complete/// I did it! I ran each day this month! It was quite a journey and I'm proud to report back that I truly enjoy running now and I stuck with it for the full month. Full recap of runtember coming soon!
Silly morning construction/// I have been going to the gym at 5:30 AM and lately there has been road construction at the end of my street and the other morning, it took me a full 7 minutes to try to get out of my street(normally it takes me 5 minutes to get to the gym, door to door). Lots of u turns and creative routes I was able to get to the gym. Ha
Hurricane Ian /// sending all the prayers and good vibes to Florida. Watching videos and looking at photos of the storms destruction, it reminded me so much of Super Storm Sandy 10 years ago. I pray that the people are safe and the rescue workers are able to work quickly and efficiently to render help and provide a sense of comfort to those in need. I think I saw a photo with a caption that said, there were 40,000 electric company trucks waiting to be deployed to help restore power. That is an insane number but YAY! for getting ready and assembling! Props to Disney world for putting together safe inside activities for kids and families who are stuck in hotels during this time.
Looking forward to October /// Yay! I am looking forward to all good things for October. Bring on the crisp days, pretty sunsets and all the adventures.
Mallomars/// This past weekend when I was at Kyle's, I brought of a box of Mallomars with me. Within like 4 hours, I had devoured the WHOLE box by myself. I was impressed but I didn't understand why I was going crazy for these silly Mallomars. The next morning I realized why.... Girls, YOU KNOW! I couldn't help but giggle as I was getting ready for the day. Typical me.
Articles:
New Jersey 5th Happiest State/// I feel like this is made up/lying but we do have amazing bagels, beaches and a never ending cast of characters. Interesting how they came up with their metrics
Adult Happy Meals/// McDonalds is making a neat collabration with a streetwear brand called Cactus Plant Flea Market. They have adult sized meals and the toys are all throwbacks- Hamburgler and Grimace- with a twist. Coming October 3rd.
Life Hacks/// I love all of these especially when they prove the hacks actually do work with research.
DIY apartment decor/// Instead of using wallpaper in her apartment, Franchesca paints her walls in unique, one of a kind patterns and bright colors! Hows creative!
